BTHS teachers appreciate a wide range of music, and they have some recommendations for you!
Outside of academics and clubs, how well do you know your teachers? After polling the teachers on their music preferences, we found that BTHS teachers appreciate a wide variety of genres, and they have some recommendations for you!
The questions we asked are as follows:
- What genre(s) of music do you like?
- Who is your favorite artist/band?
- Recommend 1-2 of your favorite songs.
The most common genres chosen were rock (indie, classic) and alternative. 50% of all respondents enjoy rock and 50% also enjoy alternative music. Other genres that the teachers enjoy are pop, motown, folk, country, and musical theater.
When it comes to artists, many teachers were conflicted in choosing a few because they have so many favorites! Some artists mentioned were Blink-182, The Beatles, Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, Lana Del Ray, Frank Sinatra, All Time Low, Lumineers, Zac Brown Band, and Radiohead.
