Summarizing important dates for the 2021-2022 school year.

As a new school year commences, many students would appreciate knowing what comes ahead. Hence, this article highlights critical dates in the first semester.
1st Marking Period
1. October 2nd: SAT
Results released October 15th.
2. October 13th: PSAT
In previous years, this has been administered to students in grades 9-11. It is possible that it is has been canceled for the 2021-2022 school year, but this is currently unknown. Results released the first week of December.
3. October 23: ACT
By now, students are only eligible to sign up for the late deadline, October 1st. Results released 10+ days after testing dates.
4. November 6th: SAT
Students should sign up by October 8th. Results released November 19th.
5. November 12th: End of Marking Period One
2nd Marking Period
1. December 4th: SAT
Students should sign up by November 4th. Results released December 17th.
2. December 11th: ACT
Students should sign up by November 5th. Results released 10+ days after testing dates.
3. January 28th: End of Second Marking Period/First Semester
Midterms are usually held a week after the second marking period ends. Other than that, the dates above are currently verifiable, but always subject to change. Have a great school year!
